For the past 2 months I've been pretty busy with a merger that I'm looking forward to. ADvengers was a way for me to get in touch with everyone during the pandemic and help share my experience with everyone. I know that I'm not a great teacher, I'm more like a coach. I can help you along the way, but can't start if that makes sense.
I talked to my brother Akie from the Affiliate Business Club, a popular networking event in Affiliate World, meetups, etc. He had the physical network that was related to his events and just bringing people together. I had the online side of things (ADvengers), I always wanted to get into the info area and share my knowledge, but I didn't want to get to the guru level.
After chatting, we decided that putting our two platforms together and expanding would be a great synergy. I want to show you some of the things we are working on and the goal of ABC. There are currently areas of ABC that I wanted to do with ADvengers, but doing everything myself and managing VAs was tedious.
With the right team, we want to grow and be the platform for networking and learning. social learning is the term I use because you want to be around your peers who are busy just like you.
We have a few aspects of the Affiliate Business Club that I want to break down for everyone. First the chat:
Affiliate Business Chat is a real-time chat room for affiliate marketers. This way, everyone can discuss what's going on in real time and get instant feedback on your campaigns. The other big part is if you want to shoot the shit you can. I wanted a chat where I could just express the facebook issues, complain about bad deals, just a place to vent, etc.
Chat can delete old messages, which was important to me as old marketing strategies are never relevant. The chat allows users to interact and receive feedback if necessary.
A newsletter was what I wanted to do too since my writing is so "not amazing" which is strange since I've been writing on my blog forever, it was difficult to really get things out. I also consume a lot of marketing messages and what I think is important may not be for others as there is information that people read.
Affiliate Business CatchUp is all about getting relevant information about online marketing, affiliate marketing and tactics sent to your inbox on a weekly basis. We know there are other competing newsletters and they are good.
They give a general overview of marketing. We want to focus on the industry and traffic. If you are already keeping up with online marketing, the general news is already part of your daily radar. We tend to find information in our chat, Reddit, Twitter, Quora, etc.
The core of everything is our social community. The Affiliate Business Club is a place where anyone can network with anyone online. We want to centralize partners and online marketers alike. We also want to consolidate users and help each other motivate each other. The purpose of the community is to encourage everyone to get better and do better.
Having a social feed with everyone allows users to see what we're doing to improve ourselves while encouraging others to get involved and asking if they're getting stuck either. We want a community where it's okay to ask and just express yourself.
Now content is the hardest part of a community. Affiliate Business Courses is a vault with tons of videos, ongoing guides, and an "Appsumo" model for other people's courses. While we're adding to the backend with information people want, we already have over 136 hours of videos from the Affiliate Virtual Summit and eCommerce Virtual Summit.
We want to be a knowledge library where you can easily select the information you need, just like checking out a book in a library. We want to solve the problem of overloaded information. You know your problems. Just take a look at a book and see if it helps you with your campaigns.
The Affiliate Business Club also has a groups section that is similar to Facebook groups. There are two differences here: In one part, you can post everything relevant in a group, as you have probably already done in Facebook groups. The second part is the discussion threads within the group. In this way, the topics can be group-specific and open a discussion if necessary.
In contrast to a forum, the discussion can be closed if it becomes inactive or irrelevant. This is an important thing we wanted to make sure that irrelevant information was not leaked. I believe this is a very unique way of approaching a discussion as I see for myself that FB groups can be broken up and lost. Having a group with a discussion forum makes it easier to focus on the topic.
As already mentioned, we haven't removed the forums, we just adjusted them a little. Our goal here is to focus on what you are doing. The current problem with forums is that you see an activity feed with information that may not be related to your goals. Since we have attention issues, we tend to read this interesting headline and try this strategy, even if it's not part of our current campaign. We want to avoid that.
Through the discussions in the thread, the topic focuses only on the subject of the ad hand and nothing else interferes with your goals or focus.
I like talking to everyone in the industry especially when I can learn from them and we can just shoot the shit. Affiliate Business Conversations is just that. These interviews are more like conversations about the industry and add knowledge to our chats.
These conversations are with industry-renowned partners, writers, myself, and anyone who we think can bring great conversation to the hectic online marketing industry.
Another part that we are working on are Affiliate Business Coupons. These will be deals that we deem appropriate for direct response and affiliate marketing. There are many offers, but we want to focus on the industry and what we find useful. This way you won't be bombarded by other promos like hosting, which should be obvious.
Most of the tools mentioned come from other affiliates, direct response marketers, who are in this industry and thought of a better way to manage campaigns, landing pages, etc.
A lot more things happen in the Affiliate Business Club. We have a points system where you can exchange credits to open new courses, exchange equipment, exchange traffic credits (in work with ad networks) and much more.
We also plan to release some basic tools for new users to learn from. We want to be the starting point for every online marketer. If they're looking to upgrade to a bigger tool, we love watching everyone do their first M.
