As you know, Google has renamed Google Webmaster Central to Google Search Central. But with, like Google told us, they are moving the blogs to a new location. That move was made yesterday (they actually did some weird things that broke Wednesday night) but the move was completed on Thursday.
The new blog location is at developer.google.com/search/blog. If you go to the old address https://webmasters.googleblog.com/, you get a strange redirect. No status code was sent for the redirect header server at the time I checked, but it may be fixed if it gets published.
In any case, the blog now looks like this (click to enlarge):
I like the internal pages, it shows you the navigation to the old posts by date all in the sidebar:
You can easily find the first blog post written by Vanessa Fox on August 8th, 2005 entitled "Just Getting Started".
You can also switch languages at the top right of the page. The currently supported languages are English, Bahasa Indonesia, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polski, Portuguese – Brazil, Tiếng Việt, Türkçe, Русский, العربيّة, हिंदी, ภาษา ไทย, 中文 – 简体, 中文 – 繁體, 日本語, 한국어 . Note that not all blog posts have been translated into all languages. Google wrote: "We are still working on moving translated blog posts, so it may take some time for translated content to appear on the blog. When posts are translated, you can choose your language on this website and see the translated content in the Compared to the previous blog setup where you had to know the URL. "
Migrating to Google Search Central is the best promo for JS redirects. I think @ g33konaut will be happy about it: D @rustybrick pic.twitter.com/HjuXQjd8Br
