Marleen Mour, 34, was born in Egypt and fled to freedom to become a beacon for other men and women in search of self-love, truthful expression and a healthy life on their terms.

Mour has achieved many successes in the health and fitness industry including gold and silver medalists nationally and globally, a member of the International Gold Key Honor Society, and author of three books on self-love and expressing deep inner truths and desires.

As much as her family struggled to keep her from boarding her flight, Mour fought with equal zeal, and at the age of 19 she entered the gates of freedom and flew to Australia. She left a life of oppression and rules from her family's culture in Egypt, a life she believed did not suit her desires. she started again. After many hardships, including battling cancer and deep loneliness, she has built a legacy to be proud of.

How did Mour use her freedom in Australia?

Mour is the founder of Marleen Mour Coaching, a health and fitness brand (owned by her company FittHeroes) that specializes in helping women transform their bodies from the inside out. Marleen Mour Coaching is a mother herself and has lost 42 kg. It reflects Mour's passion for living on their terms and celebrating the freedom everyone deserves.

Mour aims to educate others about self-love and self-care. In Cheating: How To Do It Right – A Guide For Women, Mour offers support for women who feel “stuck” in their relationships but are not yet ready to leave their partners. The point is not to condone cheating, but rather to shed some light on the fact that it is a normal tendency for partners to seek intimacy elsewhere when they are feeling lonely and invisible in their own relationship.

Mour tries to address that infidelity was a "largely avoided issue" and a "misunderstood act of desperation". It gives instructions on how to regain control of your own life, assess what is “out of bounds” before making concrete decisions, and act in your own interest without the crippling fear of others' judgment.

Mour explores the different sides of infidelity in her next book, The Allure of Infidelity: Understanding Why Most of Us Cheat and What We Expect from Our Matters. She looks at the different roles couples seem to play when there is a possibility of infidelity, namely victim and perpetrator. She wants to help others find a way to express their feelings in their relationship with one another and to become aware of the signs before something happens.

The power of self-love for permanent weight loss

In The Power of Self-Love for Permanent Weight Loss, Mour shares her proven weight loss methods from her Fitt Heroes Weight Loss programs. In this publication she writes about the psychology of weight loss and wants to give advice on how to lose weight and lead a better life. She shares her passion for self-love by training others to find a balance between "their body, their emotions and their food" and ultimately love themselves.


When Marleen Mour is not writing or holding public events to help others live on their own terms and lead better lives, she continues to strive to live their lives on their terms. She is currently working on developing her 8 week program for people who have cheated to help them better understand their decisions and themselves. She also runs her Marleen Mour coaching program with customized training and nutrition plans.
