Create a campaign on Push House

On the four tabs above the statistics table, you can select for which of the 4 display types the statistics are to be displayed.

After you have a pretty good idea of which GEO you want to target, open the "Push" drop-down menu and select "Create Campaign".

Use this page to set up your first advertising campaign. Since it's full of detail and various targeting options, we're going to break it down into smaller pieces so you can get a feel for the whole process.

Push House Campaign Setup

The title and link of your ad:

Title and link push house campaign

Title: In this field you choose a name for your campaign. This can be anything you want and only you will see it. Make sure you use a name that is easy for you to understand and can be looked up in the statistics table.

Shortcut: Your affiliate link goes here. Macros are used in this field to give you an insight into the users who clicked on your ad.

Let's take a closer look at these Macros and what they do:

  • {site} – This macro indicates which site the user received the push notification from. This is useful when you want to know which sites are profitable and which sites are adding to your bankroll with no return on investment. Once you know these websites, you can later blacklist them to remove unprofitable sources of traffic.
  • {camp} – This macro shows which advertising campaign the user clicked on. This comes in handy when you want to know what type of ads convert better so you can remove the ads that don't convert well.
  • {pdpid} – This macro tracks the subscription age of the user. In Push House, all traffic is divided into segments based on subscription age. This means that you can choose which segment of traffic you want to target.
  • {price} – This macro tracks the price of the click that the user made on your ad.
  • {feed} – In addition to the traffic that Push House has, a lot of traffic is also driven by the feeds. This macro gives you more insight into the feeds and their traffic quality.
  • {country} – This macro shows you the country in which your ad will appear.
  • {city} – This macro shows you the city in which your ad will appear.
  • {os} – This will show you the operating system of your traffic.
  • {lang} – This macro shows which browser language your traffic is using.
  • {browser} – This macro can keep track of the browser used by your traffic.
  • {format} – This macro is useful when you run multiple campaigns in different formats. It can tell you which format converts better.

Countries, prices and devices:

Countries and prices on Push House

The first thing you want to do here is select the country that you want to target.

Once you do, your CPC will immediately default to the minimum CPC allowed in the country you selected. You can change this at any time if you want to increase your bid.

Next, you can use the City drop-down menu to include or exclude cities if your offering requires it.

Now let's go to the Devices section.

Device: This drop-down menu allows you to choose whether you want your campaign to target mobile or desktop devices.

Subscription age: Here you can select the traffic segment based on the subscription age. The newer the subscription, the higher your CPC. This is based on the idea that a newer user will click and convert the ad much more often than a user who has been receiving push notifications for some time.

Operating system version Android: Here you can target a specific Android operating system.

Browser language: This is a very useful targeting tool when you want to target a specific portion of traffic from a country with more than one language.

Your current ad:

Create an ad on Push House

Now that you've got everything set up, it's time to create your actual ad.

Before doing anything, you can go to Ready Sets. This is like a little in-house spying tool that gives you access to hundreds of pre-made themes.

These can give you an idea of ads that other people in your niche are using. If you need a more detailed analysis, you can check out the free Spy House (Russian only) spying tool, which will give you even more updated and detailed information on the push ads used by your competitors.

Title: Enter the title of your ad. Note that a maximum of 30 characters is allowed in this field. Try to keep it short and catchy to get more clicks.

It's also a good idea to use emojis here as they have been shown to increase click-through rates.

Text: This is the main part of your ad. The main message of your ad should be here. The maximum number of characters allowed here is 45. You can also use emojis here if you want.

Tip: You can put two macros in the title and text, {CITY} and {COUNTRY}. When used, these macros automatically change to the city or country of the user for whom the ad is being served. This is a great way to add a higher level of personalization to your ads.

Symbol: Here you can upload an icon for your ad. The icon is a small picture that appears next to your ad, next to the title and text.

Picture: Here you can upload the main image for your campaign. It's a bigger picture that is used to get more attention and get more information about the offer you are promoting.

Tip: The image is not always displayed the same on different devices. Some crops may be applied to the top and bottom of the image. Therefore, always try to put the most important information in the center of the picture.

Time planning:

Push House Campaign Plan

This tool allows you to run your ad on specific days of the week or at specific times of the day if this is necessary for your offer.

You may want to run your ad during the offer's call center business hours, or your offer may need to run on certain days, or you may see low conversions at certain times. Regardless of the reason, here you can activate and deactivate any time of day you want.

Note that the schedule is set to UTC +2. So don't forget to convert the local time of the offer to UTC +2 when planning your advertising campaign.

Ad limit:

Push budget limit

In this section you can set limits for your campaign. It is divided into four fields. Let's take a closer look at each one:

Total budget limit in US dollars: Here you can set an overall budget for your campaign. Due to the nature of the ad format for push notifications, the limit may be exceeded. The minimum limit is $ 10.

Daily budget $: If you need your campaign to spend a certain amount of money every day, set it here. Due to the nature of the ad format for push notifications, the limit may be exceeded. The minimum limit is $ 10.

Total click limit: This is another way to narrow down your campaign. Instead of setting a limit in dollars, you can set it in clicks. For example, if you only need a certain number of clicks to test your campaign, you can do so here. Due to the nature of the ad format for push notifications, the limit may be exceeded.

Daily click limit: If the nature of your offer only allows a certain number of daily conversions, you can set this field here. There may be caps on the offer you make so this could come in handy.

Audience:

Push house audience attitudes

This section focuses on your audience. It lists the websites they came from, their subscriptions and whether you want to exclude those websites / subscriptions or get more traffic from them.

Before we explain how to set up all of these parameters, we need to know what black and white lists are and why we need them.

Let's say you started your campaign and are directing traffic for 3 websites to your affiliate link. A difficult part about using Push House is that these websites are sorted by number instead of name. For example, the three 3s you're driving traffic from could be numbers 1, 875, and 23.

After your campaign has been running for some time, you need to check the statistics of your partner network or tracker to see which sites are profitable and which are not (this is only possible if you have used the {site} macro in your partner link).

When you open the statistics and see an interesting thing, i. H. site 1 gave you 30 clicks of which 4 were converted, you can easily see that this site is profitable.

Site 23 gave you 50 clicks, 2 of which were converted. This page is also profitable, but not as much as the first page.

However, Site 875 gave you 100 clicks and only 1 conversion. It is not profitable at all!

So what are you doing? You have to get rid of it.

If so, you can blacklist and add Site 875. And voilá! You are no longer receiving traffic from this website.

The more traffic you drive, the more detailed the statistics become, and therefore, inferior traffic sources can be added to your blacklist.

The same strategy applies to whitelists. If you find that some websites are more profitable than others, it usually means that those websites have an audience that is a good fit for your campaigns. You can whitelist these to get even more traffic from these websites.

Let us now come back to the "Target Audience" section.

The first thing you need to know is that this section is divided into two columns

In the left column you can choose what kind of list you want to create.

Each field relates to the list next to it in the right column.

This means that the first field in the left column, "Enter IP", where you can choose whether you want to create a black or white list, is linked to the counter field on the right where you will insert IP areas, you want to include exclude.

The same applies to the Type ID field, which, as mentioned earlier, is responsible for the site ID or numbers.

The last field is responsible for the subscription IDs.

After deciding what type of list you want to make, go to the counter field on the right and paste in the data you got from your stats. Let me show you how I made a little blacklist of the websites that didn't bring me any profit.

set the audience up for push house

In the image above, I just wanted to blacklist low performing websites. I went to the left column first, selected the form type id "blacklist" and then switched to the field opposite to enter any sites my campaign shouldn't run on as those sites weren't profitable for me.

The uniqueness of the campaign:

Push House uniqueness of the campaign

This little box has only three choices and determines how your ad will be shown to users.

Display: If you select this, it means that once the user sees the ad, regardless of whether they click on it or close it, they will never see it again. This is the best choice if you are working with an affiliate network.

Shortcut: If you choose this option and the user has previously received the ad with this link, they will not receive it again. You can try this out if you have a store that has different links for different products.

Domain: The last option filters the uniqueness of the ad by domain. So if multiple people are campaigning for the same website, but they are only paid for a single visitor, this is helpful because the ad with the same domain will never show twice to the same user.

The last step before the start::

Start campaign on Push House

Right before you start your campaign, there are a few final steps you need to take to complete the process.

Push House will moderate all ads to make sure the creative doesn't contain adult content. If you don't want your ad to appear right after moderation, enable "Stop after the moderation”.

Display 18+: This is an important field that you need to check in order for your ad to show. You need to choose whether or not your landing page has adult content as it will help the platform find the best audience for you.

Allow feeds: Push House has a lot of traffic, but if you ever need more, you can turn on Allow Feeds to pull traffic from third-party databases. To do this, you must have over $ 70 on your balance.

That's it!

You have now taken all the necessary steps to get your ad up and running and attract unique visitors to your offer.

Click the Campaign List tab to see a list of all of your campaigns and the Statistics tab to see detailed statistics on your campaign performance.

This is where you can break down your campaigns by specifically targeting which options are best for you.
