Why many companies don't hire 15-year-olds

Local and family businesses
Local businesses and family businesses are the best choice for places that rent at 15.

The other major industry associated with teenage employment is fast food, but there are few restaurants that stop at 15 years of age. Burger King specifically states that employees must be at least 16 years old.
There may be other restaurants set at 15 for limited roles, including bussing tables and kitchen work. However, 16 years is a more common minimum age for waiting for tables or working as a cashier.
Entertainment venues with amusement arcades, trampolines, laser tags, or escape rooms may be places for 15-year-olds to find work, and definitely for older teenagers. Since many of the guests are children and adolescents, younger employees are more advantageous than in other sectors – they contribute to the family friendship.
