Every blogger who becomes a professional is afraid, feels fear, releases fear and continues to blog with generous energy.

Every other blogger struggles, fails and stops. Developing emotional intelligence is the only way to achieve lasting blogging success. Bloggers who are afraid and are processed by a generous, trusting energy increase traffic and profits to the pro level and stay with it for years.

Everyone else finally gives up. I have seen this story online tens of thousands of times in my decade. Most bloggers give up because most bloggers avoid fear. Finally, if you avoid fear, stop blogging. Why? Traffic, money and your career as a professional blogger are on the other side of fear. Every success is outside your comfort zone. Holding back only cheats for success. To be scared feels uncomfortable, but it will make you successful.

How do you nudge fear? Develop your emotional intelligence. How do you develop your emotional intelligence? Expand your awareness. Expanding your awareness includes:

  • meditate
  • to do yoga
  • Take a deep breath to ground yourself right now

For example, I want to take a nap now because I'm tired. But when I watch my feeling of tiredness, the feeling of tiredness, fear and mild exhaustion simply moves. I can encounter these emotions, feel them and let them go because years of meditation and yoga have expanded my consciousness many times over than the average blogger. Chilling in places like Oman is fun and liberating, but only because I have developed my emotional intelligence.

Bloggers usually crouch with fear and cause permanent failure and permanent cessation. Some nudge a bit in fear, but immediately turn around and fear the uncomfortable feeling of being afraid. Some selected bloggers face fears, feel them and resolve them to go in a more successful and successful direction. This crowd expands their awareness to develop a high level of emotional intelligence.

But never confuse intelligence with emotional intelligence. Most intelligent people are afraid and have low emotional intelligence. Some less intelligent people live from a generous, loving, fearless energy with a high level of emotional intelligence.

I'm not overly smart or smart. But I am generous, loving and boast a more fearless trail. My high level of emotional intelligence made it possible for me as an island hopping and professional blogger to circumnavigate the globe. Book Smarts did little for me. Street smarts did almost everything for me. However, increasing my emotional intelligence turned out to be a challenging undertaking, as the habit sometimes felt very uncomfortable. I felt exhausted during my morning kriya yoga session, but went through the tension practice.

Spending time and energy to be emotionally intelligent inspires me to blog generously while facing fears and other uncomfortable energies. I feel pretty down to earth now. But I keep blogging. I could easily take the day off, but my intuition nudges me with fear and enhances my blogging success while serving you. I definitely won't blog unless I have increased my emotional intelligence because you have to be generous, trusting, and a fearful blogger to really blog thousands of hours over many years of your life.

Emotionally intelligent bloggers never hold back and blog with generous energy. I recorded a video in Turkey some time ago that deals with this concept of non-restraint. Check it out here:

Dig deep. I've been pushed out of my comfort zone a lot lately. Me and my wife come in and out as we show the house to sell. But if I am aware of my fears, I can move in a prospering direction.
